Abstract

El objetivo de esta investigación es desarrollar un metodología que permita la selección de muestras para la estimación de los resultados a nivel de la circunscripción de Sevilla en elecciones al Parlamento de Andalucía. Esta selección de muestras se realizará en base a identificar las secciones censales que más se aproximen al resultado global de las distintas elecciones celebradas en el ámbito andaluz, utilizando con ese fin el análisis cluster k-medias. Para ello se segmentan los municipios en cuatro categorías en función del tamaño de población de los mismos, ya que se comprueba la existencia de diferencias significativas en el comportamiento electoral de esos grupos de municipios.
