    Abstract

    Y a-t-il encore quelque chose de neuf à dire sur le capitalisme aujourd’hui ? Sans doute, si l’on veut bien admettre la réalité du tournant néolibéral comme caractérisant la variante contemporaine du système économique qui s’est installé, à partir des Temps Modernes, d’abord sur le continent européen, s’est transformé sans cesse, a triomphé du rival qu’il avait lui-même sécrété, et règne désormais sans partage sur le monde entier. L’absence de résistance manifeste au néolibéralisme, en dépit de la violence accrue qu’il exerce sur les salariés des pays avancés en particulier, mérite une explication. Auparavant, comme le capitalisme in concreto est en constante évolution, il peut être intéressant de dégager les principes qui gouvernent le capitalisme in abstracto, modèle pur qui a peu de chance de coïncider tout à fait avec la réalité, mais dont celle-ci, néanmoins, ne s’est jamais beaucoup éloignée. D’où les deux parties de cette communication : Le capitalisme in abstracto : individualisme et libéralisme – Le capitalisme in concreto : économie libidinale et enrôlement des masses.
