Adopter le télétravail ? L’impact du travail à distance sur le bien-être

Abstract

Avec la crise du Covid-19 et le confinement, un quart des salariés sont brusquement passés au télétravail. Une grande enquête britannique nous permet de mettre en évidence l’impact positif en moyenne de cette réorganisation sur la satisfaction dans la vie. Concernant la santé mentale, les nouveaux télétravailleurs l’ont initialement vue se dégrader, et ce n’est qu’au bout de quelques mois qu’ils se sont adaptés et que leurs indicateurs de santé mentale ont rattrapé puis dépassé ceux de leurs collègues restés au bureau. Ces effets positifs ne concernent pas tous les groupes de la population de manière identique. Ils sont plus forts pour les couples et les personnes en zone rurale.
