Abstract

Cette note résume les principales conclusions du document de travail Dolan et al.," The Host with the Most? The Effects of the Olympic Games on Happiness". En étudiant les vairations de bien-être subjectif des habitants de Londres, Paris et Berlin, les auteurs mettent en évidence une amélioration de la satisfaction de vie des Londoniens pendant les jeux Olympiques de 2012. Cette amélioration est toutefois à mettre en regard du coût élevé de l'organisation des Jeux.
