Abstract

[eng] Social classes and return to higher education. . An analysis of the effective monetary return to higher education points ont the differences on that ground between social classes.. Apart from thé usual private rates of return, we define a class rate which takes into account the probability of scolarisation in higher education as well as the contribution of the concerned social class to the public financing of the higher education System.. The observed différences in the rates of return are explained in terms of differences in earnings functions, university achievements, subjects and public allowances.
