El papel de las regiones en el desarrollo económico de Colombia

Abstract

El presente artículo muestra la importancia de las regiones dentro del desarrollo económico del país, teniendo en cuenta que Colombia presenta importantes brechas entre sus territorios, lo cual se transforma en un obstáculo para el desempeno general de la nación. Todo ello irá enmarcado en la discusión que se genera en el campo de la ciencia económica sobre los enfoques del desarrollo y los determinantes de que algunas economías registren mejores desempenos que otras, en materia de crecimiento y desarrollo. ****** This paper highlights the importance of the regions within the economic development of the country, taking into account that Colombia presents important gaps between its territories, which becomes an obstacle to the overall performance of the nation. All this will be framed in the discussion that is generated in economics on development approaches and the determinants about why some economies have better performances than others, in terms of growth and development.
