Abstract

Fedesarrollo, con el apoyo de las Cámaras de Comercio de Bogotá, Cali, Barranquilla y Bucaramanga realizó la séptima etapa de la Encuesta Social en el mes de septiembre de 2002. Dicha aplicación tuvo lugar en 3.428 hogares de las cinco principales ciudades del país: Bogotá, Cali, Barranquilla, Bucaramanga y Medellín. En esta sección de la revista se exponen algunos resultados del módulo básico, los cuales incluyen percepciones de bienestar, estrategia de mitigación de disminución de ingresos e indicadores de seguridad, educación y salud. Así mismo, se incluyen por primera vez líneas subjetivas de pobreza, índices de pobreza e índices de necesidades básicas insatisfechas.
