La gestión ambiental en el modelo cultural del desarrollo sostenible

Abstract

El desarrollo sostenible constituye un discurso internacional que busca una identidad universal de los pueblos, las etnias, las culturas regionales, las naciones, los bloques económicos y los mundos". Dada la importancia de la problemática ambiental en el pensamiento contemporáneo, la relación de cultura y medio ambiente puede ser abordado como un triple paradigma: histórico moral y estético. Como paradigma histórico, el desarrollo sostenible juega con la sugerencia evolucionista en la que el estilo de desarrollo de occidente es positivo y se orienta hacia funciones objetivas, en las cuales, el sujeto social como conglomerado de identidad renuncia a su singularidad. La sostenibilidad se transmite como una moral del desarrollo de occidente, fundada en principios humanistas y progresistas. Estéticamente la sostenibilidad del desarrollo se presenta como un ideal en el que el desarrollo de occidente es el ídolo de la modernidad."
