La distribución del ingreso: ¿Un problema resuelto, u olvidado?

Abstract

La distribución del ingreso que fue para los clásicos el problema de la economía, fue borrado de la literatura macroeconómica luego de la Crítica de Cambridge ya que no se puede emplear una función agregada para explicar la distribución del ingreso porque los precios de los factores que se pretende explicar se necesitan para agregar el producto y el capital. El objeto del presente trabajo es mostrar que, por una parte, la cuestión de la agregación no es insuperable, a la vez que no es el único que tiene la función agregada. También se muestra que una construcción agregada puede ser igualmente útil para mostrar la forma en que se vinculan salarios y beneficios - que no es lo mismo que sostener que unos explican a los otros o viceversa- aportando algunas pruebas empírico-econométricas.
