Rasgos y contradicciones de la fase agroalimentaria global en el ámbito de la lucha por la hegemonía alimentaria

Abstract

La fase agroalimentaria mundial se ha caracterizado por el dominio ejercido por parte de los países desarrollados, principalmente con subsidios concentrados en las empresas más grandes con el objetivo de evitar la sobreproducción, y por el ejercido por parte de las grandes empresas transnacionales sobre los productores rurales sometidos a producir a más bajos precios sin subsidios, traducido así en un declive productivo y en dependencia alimentaria; por lo tanto se puede observar claramente una concentración y centralización de la producción agroalimentaria mundial en unos pocos agentes económicos.
