Un análisis bibliométrico de trabajos recientes en microeconomía

Abstract

A partir de una revisión de los artículos publicados en las revistas más consultadas a nivel internacional: American Economic Review, Journal of Political Economy, Journal of Economic Literature y Quarterly Journal of Economics durante el período 1998-2003, con una metodología similar a la utilizada por Chiappori y Levitt (2003), se intenta determinar cuáles han sido las áreas de interés en microeconomía en los últimos anos, al mismo tiempo que mostrar la tendencia con relación al carácter teórico o empírico de estos trabajos. Para que este ejercicio resulte interesante, se hace el mismo análisis a partir de los artículos publicados en el periodo 1998-2002 en tres de las principales revistas a nivel nacional: Cuadernos de Economía, Economía Institucional y Lecturas de Economía. Para finalmente mostrar las principales conclusiones encontradas en términos comparativos.
