Abstract

Este trabajo tiene como propósito estudiar, desde una conceptualización teórica, elConsejo Nacional de Seguridad Social en Salud -CNSSS- como un organismo deregulación y concertación del sistema de salud colombiano. Se concentra en el análisisde su conformación como un aspecto determinante en el proceso de toma de decisiones,al punto que éste es sensible a la presencia de relaciones de agencia o contractualesentre sus miembros, las cuales surgen de la interrelación entre las industrias queconforman el mercado de salud (relaciones de mercado) que luego, dentro del Consejo,se traducen en la formación de coaliciones y grupos de interés.
