La industria del calzado argentina bajo los dos primeros gobiernos peronistas (1946-1955)

Abstract

En este artículo estudiamos cómo afectó la política económica de los dos primeros gobiernos peronistas a la industria del calzado. Concentramos nuestro análisis en tres ejes principales: el abastecimiento de maquinaria, el comercio exterior y la política crediticia. Cabe senalar que la industria del calzado hacia el inicio de la presidencia de Perón había iniciado un proceso de exportaciones que es pronto interrumpido. Para realizar este trabajo analizamos diversos tipos de fuentes empresariales: libros de empresas, balances; corporativas, publicaciones de la Cámara de la Industria del Calzado y gubernamentales. Creemos que esto aporta tanto la historia de la economía y la industria, como a profundizar el análisis político sobre las relaciones entre los empresarios y el gobierno peronista. A su vez, el estudio de este caso permite interrogarnos sobre las posibilidades y límites que experimentaban los países latinoamericanos en el contexto de la segunda posguerra para desarrollar una industria exportadora.
