“Ley de Wagner”, un análisis de regresión lineal múltiple para Colombia

Abstract

En el presente trabajo se estudia la denominada “Ley de Wagner” que comprende la relación empírica entre el gasto público y los componentes del PIB. El trabajo abarca el período 1960-2014 para la economía colombiana. En primer lugar, se realiza la exposición teórica del trabajo, el análisis de estadística descriptiva y la primera regresión lineal. Posteriormente, se exploran cuatro supuestos del modelo de regresión lineal múltiple que son: tamano de muestra adecuado, no cambio estructural, especificación correcta y no multicolinealidad entre las variables exógenas. Además, se examinan los tres supuestos de ruido blanco, algunas con pruebas no paramétricas, y se realizará pronóstico para cuatro anos delante de la muestra. Se concluye con la existencia de la “Ley de Wagner” para Colombia, sin embargo, con el incumplimiento de dos supuestos del modelo de regresión lineal.
