¿Era beneficiosa la implementación de un cargo fijo en la tarifa de energía eléctrica En Colombia?

Abstract

Desde julio del presente ano en Colombia se ha generado una gran controversia en torno a la propuesta presentada por la CREG el pasado mes de junio que implementaría un cargo fijo en el cobro del servicio de energía eléctrica ante la supuesta necesidad de remunerar las actividades de comercialización del sector. De ser aplicada esta medida en un país como Colombia, donde los niveles de pobreza y desigualdad alcanzan cifras vergonzosas las consecuencias negativas serían las primeras en aflorar, dado que se perjudicarían significativamente los sectores más vulnerables en cuanto a ingreso, que en el caso colombiano representan la gran mayoría de la población total del país.
