Un Juego Bilateral De Guerra Y Comercio

Abstract

En este trabajo construyo las bases de lo que puede llamarse una teoría económica de la guerra bilateral, esto es„ una teoría en la que se elucidan las interconexiones existentes entre el comercio y la guerra entre pares de países altamente especializados y dependientes entre si. Se demuestra., en un juego en dos etapas con información completa y pagos endógenos, que las propensiones de los países hacia la guerra o hacia la paz, dependen de las asimetrías existentes en la distribución de la demanda y de los recursos entre ellos. El análisis revela que la guerra” constituye el único equilibrio posible.
