Abstract

El presente documento tiene el propósito de plantear una hipótesis explicativa a la falta de participación femenina en asuntos de liderazgo político. Esta hipótesis usa explicaciones evolutivas, morfológicas y fisiológicas relacionadas con la biología de cada género. El documento se divide en cinco partes. En la primera parte se exponen algunas nociones acerca de los principales dimorfismos de cada género. En la segunda parte se plantea cómo estos dimorfismos están relacionados con tendencias a la agresión, dominancia y al establecimiento de relaciones de poder al interior de un grupo. En la tercera parte se expone la hipótesis. En la cuarta parte se expone la discusión correspondiente. En la quinta parte se exponen algunas conclusiones.
