Identificación de oportunidades de desarrollo industrial a partir de materias primas generadas en la Refinería de Barrancabermeja

Abstract

Este estudio identifica oportunidades de desarrollo industrial en la región del Magdalena Medio a partir de materias primas y sub productos generados por la Refinería de Barrancabermeja. El análisis se desarrolla en dos dimensiones. Una primera dimensión analiza las condiciones existentes en el área de influencia de la Refinería para el desarrollo de industria en términos sociales, económicos, institucionales y de seguridad. La segunda parte del análisis se centra en estudiar las condiciones de mercado de los productos generados por la Refinería a partir de los cuales se podría desarrollar actividades industriales en la región. Como resultado del estudio se identifican los productos con potencial de aprovechamiento y se formulan una serie de recomendaciones de política con el fin de facilitar el desarrollo industrial en la región del Magdalena Medio.
