Transición en el sistema de salud colombiano

Abstract

En esta Observación se presenta un análisis de la evolución del sistema de salud colombiano en cuanto al marco institucional, al plan de beneficios, al financiamiento y a la organización industrial. Se pone en discusión que aunque en el país no se ha producido una reforma integral o estructural posterior a la Ley 100 de 1993, en los últimos anos se han adelantado ajustes o cambios que pueden dar lugar a una nueva configuración del sistema, a su mejor desempeno, o en últimas, a un cambio completo en su organización.
