La salud en ciudades de Colombia

Abstract

Esta Observación presenta una revisión sobre el movimiento de Ciudades Saludables. Para este fin, se introducen las consideraciones teóricas básicas y un breve recuento para Europa y América Latina del movimiento. Además, se analiza la situación de las cuatro principales ciudades de Colombia a partir de aspectos y datos básicos de salud que hacen parte del concepto de Ciudad Saludable. De este modo, se desea motivar el estudio del tema y llamar la atención para mejorar el posicionamiento de la salud en las agendas de política de las ciudades y municipios del país.
