Abstract

CONTENTS: Este trabajo analiza la cuestión de si existe un modelo general de gobierno corporativo propio de las empresas españolas e indaga si los códigos de buen gobierno que han aparecido en su entorno normativo (Olivencia y OCDE) han jugado un papel determinante. La conclusión es que las empresas que cotizan en el ibex-35 muestran un patrón de gobierno corporativo propio y característico. La aparición de los códigos de buen gobierno han provocado hasta la fecha un impacto muy leve en las empresas, que han aproximado entre sí sus patrones de gobierno pero sin llegar a cumplir plenamente las recomendaciones de los mismos.
