La liquidez en los mercados financieros: repercusiones de la crisis crediticia

Abstract

CONTENTS: La crisis de las hipotecas de alto riesgo en EEUU ha presentado como aspecto singular su intensa repercusión sobre diversos mercados de capitales. La consecuencia ha sido una significativa reducción de la negociación motivada por la pérdida de confianza y la incertidumbre sobre la valoración de ciertos productos financieros. Este comportamiento ha puesto de manifiesto debilidades en el funcionamiento del sistema financiero global y las recomendaciones de los diversos organismos internacionales parecen ser un punto de partida adecuado para paliar los problemas detectados.
