Réduction du gaspillage alimentaire des consommateurs québécois

Abstract

This report presents the results of a study that aimed to better understand consumer behavior regarding food waste and to identify the best strategies for reducing it. A literature review on existing strategies, a survey, a food waste diary and focus groups were conducted to propose solutions to reduce food waste in households as well as in service sector businesses. Ce rapport présente les résultats d’une étude ayant pour but de mieux comprendre le comportement des consommateurs en matière de gaspillage alimentaire et de cibler les meilleures stratégies pour le réduire. Une revue de littérature sur les stratégies existantes, un sondage, un journal de bord des gaspillages alimentaires et des groupes de discussion ont été conduits afin de proposer des pistes de solutions pour réduire le gaspillage alimentaire au sein des ménages ainsi que dans les entreprises du secteur tertiaire.
