Abstract

Les interventions de nos gouvernements pour soutenir les Canadiens pendant la pandémie ont généré des déficits colossaux (250G$ au fédéral). Ces déficits sont légitimes, car on ne pouvait laisser sombrer dans la pauvreté des milliers de chômeurs et acculer à la faillite des centaines d’entreprises. Toutefois, nos gouvernements ne pourront abandonner ces programmes du jour au lendemain, et résorber leur déficit de sitôt, car la pandémie a fait des ravages qui dépassent largement sa durée.
