Abstract

Esta colección de ensayos se enfoca en diferentes elementos analíticos de la Teoría de Sentimientos Morales (TSM) de Smith. Artaza toma ejemplos paradigmáticos de la literatura moderna sobre bienestar subjetivo para ilustrar qué ha sido confirmado, qué no y qué está ausente del análisis de TSM. Cervero analiza como los conceptos de moda y belleza en TSM se relacionan con la moderna teoría de la influencia social. Junghanss distingue el concepto de simpatía que aparece en TSM del concepto más reciente de empatía. Marco contrasta el análisis unitario del comportamiento en TSM con las cuatro categorías mutuamente excluyentes de acción social en Weber. Soria encuentra un enfoque en común de TSM y RN dado por el uso del individualismo metodológico y el orden espontáneo.
