Restricción externa: mismo problema, 2 escenarios diferentes

Abstract

En octubre de 2020 la economía argentina enfrenta una nueva restricción externa. La cual no se puede explicar, como se hacía hace medio siglo, porque el Mundo no demanda mayor cantidad de nuestros productos, o porque los productores agropecuarios no responden a los incentivos; por lo cual la literatura generada por “aquella” restricción externa sirve muy poco para entender a “ésta” restricción externa. Que en las actuales circunstancias, y más allá de las declaraciones, la política económica se centre más en la compresión de las importaciones, que en el aumento de las exportaciones, muestra que las decisiones se basan en diagnósticos desactualizados o politizados de la realidad.
