Enfoque matricial al problema de las particiones

Abstract

Dado un conjunto con determinada cantidad de elementos, es posible calcular la cardinalidad del conjunto formado por todos los subconjuntos del conjunto dado, que cumplen con la propiedad de ser disjuntos y tal que además la unión de todos ellos sea el conjunto original. Esto es, determinar el número total de posibles particiones para el conjunto especificado. El objetivo es abordar el tema con un enfoque matricial y mediante elementos de álgebra lineal. También se analiza el caso en el cual se consideran a los elementos como indistinguibles, y por lo tanto se pretende calcular el número de clases de particiones, es decir obtener la función de partición. Se aplican las ecuaciones obtenidas a un caso puntual y se verifican con las expresiones y valores existentes con respecto a esta temática.
