Comportamiento de los inversores de acuerdo a la cantidad de noticias recibidas

Abstract

En el presente trabajo se describe un experimento llevado a cabo con un conjunto de inversores que permitió concluir que, en algunos de ellos, existe una apreciable relación entre la cantidad de noticias de empresas cotizantes que aparecen en los medios y la cantidad de operaciones que ellos efectúan y el volumen negociado en las mismas. Dicha relación depende del tipo de inversor. Inversores proclives al exceso de trading –aquellos que operan con mucha o excesiva frecuencia- parecen ser altamente influidos por la cantidad de noticias, mientras que inversores que operan con poca frecuencia parecen estar poco influidos por las mismas. La contribución del trabajo consiste en poder probar que existe, al menos, un grupo de inversores que estarían tomando decisiones de compra-venta no en función de la aparición de nueva información sino en función de lo que Fisher Black definió como “ruido”.
