Abstract

This paper presents "organizational challenges" facing the Argentine agricultural and agroindustrial sector. It is argued that organization, and not only technology, determine efficiency and growth. The paper presents several case-studies refered to organizational issues, emphasizing vertical integration, managerial processes, cooperative entreprises and private production of public goods.
