Abstract

This report describes the patterns of Environmental Tobacco Smoke exposure among youth primarily at home but also in other settings. We also consider youth's perceptions of the dangers of ETS and parental influence on youth smoking behavior. We then apply prevalence rates to population estimates in order to estimate the number of youth ages 12 to 18 exposed to ETS in the United States.
