Schumpeter und die Zukunft des Unternehmertums

Abstract

Es ist das große Verdienst von Joseph A. Schumpeter, wie kein anderer Ökonom des 20.Jahrhunderts den Kapitalismus und die Dynamik seiner Entwicklung auf das Unternehmertum statt auf irgendwelche abstrakten Marktgeset-ze zurückgeführt zu haben. Ausgehend davon spürt der Text den kritischen Befun-den zur Erosion der Unternehmerfunktion nach, die Schumpeter in seinen beiden letzten Lebensjahrzehnten immer tiefergehend vorgelegt hat. Jenseits von Schumpeters – normativ betrachtet – Befürchtungen des Hinüberwachsens in einen bürokratischen Sozialismus gäbe es bzw. gibt es auch wirklich Möglichkeiten zu einer Revitalisierung von Unternehmertum im Sinne solidarischen, gemeinschaftsorientier-ten und auf nachhaltige Entwicklung gerichteten Wirtschaftens.
