Evaluación de aspectos fundamentales de la gestión del efectivo a partir de los resultados de una encuesta realizada a nivel nacional

Abstract

La presente investigación evalúa distintos aspectos de las acciones y operaciones que realiza el Banco Central de Bolivia a lo largo del ciclo de efectivo, a partir de los resultados de la Encuesta realizada por la Gerencia de Tesorería en octubre de 2018. Los resultados muestran que las acciones del BCB son positivas y responden, en gran medida, a las necesidades que tiene la población en materia de disponibilidad, calidad y seguridad de los billetes y monedas de curso legal. Sin embargo, hay tareas que requieren ajustes para mejorar la gestión del efectivo, en Bolivia, para beneficio directo de la población.
