Abstract

La investigación analiza la naturaleza del ciclo económico y financiero y la interacción entre ambos con información trimestral correspondiente al período 1960 a 2015. Los resultados sugieren una fuerte relación entre ambos y muestran el carácter procíclico del crédito. A partir de los resultados hallados, se construyó un régimen que permita determinar un colchón de capital para el sistema financiero boliviano siguiendo el espíritu de las recomendaciones de Basilea III.
