Le logement abordable, un enjeu social au cœur des crises libanaises

Abstract

Au Liban, plus de 88 % des habitants vivent en ville. C’est dans le Grand Beyrouth, où est concentrée plus de la moitié de la population, que les marchés du logement sont les plus tendus. Ces 30 dernières années, les appartements de moyen à haut standing, en accession à la propriété, y ont constitué l’essentiel de l’offre résidentielle. Avec plus de la moitié des 6 millions de résidents vivant sous le seuil de pauvreté, ces crises renforcent le besoin social pour des logements abordables.
