Les banques centrales au coeur de la reconstruction écologique

Abstract

Face à la crise pandémique et à ses conséquences économiques et financières à court et moyen terme, les banques centrales se sont retrouvées en position de gardiennes du chaos. Elles ont agi rapidement et de manière massive pour éviter les conséquences potentiellement dramatiques de l’arrêt soudain d’un grand nombre d’économies dans le monde. Face aux retournements des flux de capitaux hors des pays en développement et émergents, nombre d’entre elles se sont retrouvées en situation de crise de change et de besoin urgent de liquidités. La Federal Reserve (FED) américaine a ainsi dû répondre à une demande soudaine de dollars et de bons du Trésor.
