Dynamique des inégalités et de la pauvreté multi-dimensionnelle à Nouna

Abstract

Une évaluation de l’économie du Burkina Faso laisse entrevoir des prouesses en matière de croissance, avec un taux de croissance moyen du PIB de 7 %. Cependant, des inégalités subsistent selon les localités. Selon l’Enquête Multisectorielle Continue 2014, 40,1% de la population burkinabè vit sous le seuil de pauvreté, chiffre qui varie selon le lieu. Tenant compte du caractère dynamique de la pauvreté, cette étude combine une méthode holistique pour apprécier la pauvreté sous ses multiples facettes dans l’aire de recherche du Centre de recherche en santé de Nouna-CRSN, en l’occurrence l’observatoire de population. Les analyses se sont focalisées sur la période 2003- 2019, avec une emphase sur 2003, 2011 et 2019.
