Abstract

Près d’un milliard de personnes (soit une personne sur neuf) souffrent de malnutrition et près de deux milliards de personnes n'ont pas accès aux médicaments de base.Face à l’urgence, certaines initiatives détournent les attributs classiques de la propriété intellectuelle. Sans les contrer frontalement, elles les modulent afin de les mettre au service de l'accès à des produits pharmaceutiques et alimentaires à caractère thérapeutique.Soutenir ces initiatives multiples, émanant notamment de la société civile, est essentiel : elles sont porteuses d'innovations nécessaires. Cependant, elles ne sont, le plus souvent, soutenables, qu'avec l'aide des États.
