La defensa de la Unión Europea. Voluntades políticas y capacidades militares básicas

Abstract

El objetivo de estas páginas es presentar una reflexión parcial sobre el presente y el futuro de la defensa de la Unión Europea. En la primera parte se analiza la evolución de la política europea de seguridad y defensa, desde sus primeros pasos en la inmediata posguerra hasta la actualidad. En la segunda parte, se evalúan diversos aspectos de la política de defensa de la UE, en especial de algunas de las capacidades militares de las fuerzas terrestres que, a juicio de los autores, merecen más atención de la que se les ha venido prestando hasta el momento.
