Abstract

This presentation provides a seventeen year retrospective on the contributions made to the evolving European real estate education agenda at the annual conferences of the European Real Estate Society (ERES). In particular it identifies a total of seventy six contributions including one plenary session, five panel sessions and one keynote address. The mix of topics has shifted over time from a focus on concerns such as consistency in valuation education and the development of real estate education in a wide range of European countries to an increasing focus on issues related to internationalisation and employability. This work provides a benchmark of how the European education agenda has evolved overtime and seeks to stimulate debate on its future evolution.
