Indexación y Financiamiento Inflacionario: el Caso de la Movilidad Jubilatoria

Abstract

El siguiente trabajo discute las principales formas de financiamiento del sector público a partir de la generación o de la presencia de inflación. Se hace foco en el financiamiento del fisco, particularmente, a partir de la erosión de los haberes reales del sistema seguridad social. Si bien éstos se rigen a partir de la fórmula de movilidad previsional, que implica un mecanismo de indexación para proteger a los beneficiarios, la imperfección de esta herramienta en un contexto inflacionario permite cierto ahorro fiscal para el sector público por distintas razones. La explicación y desarrollo de éstas es el aporte principal de este trabajo.
