Abstract

Excerpts from the Foreword: This report summarizes discussions at four Data Users Meetings [held in Portland, OR, Grand Rapids, MI, Mt. Laurel NJ, and Sacramento, CA] held in March and April 1993 to discuss USDA economic statistics programs. Also included are written statements which were provided by meeting participants or by individuals who were unable to attend. The 1993 meetings focused on the NASS specialty commodities, farm labor, and agriculture chemical usage; AMS market news reports; ERS situation and outlook reports; and WAOB supply and demand estimates. The material presented in this report is a summary of the major points presented at each session.
