Abstract

Excerpt from the report: The following pages contain a list of most of the farm-business analysis studies that have been made in the United States up to and including 1939. Insofar as possible, each study is accompanied with information concerning the method by which the data were obtained, the farm year covered by the study, the number of farms included, the principal sources of farm receipts, and references to publications pertaining to the study. Other data included are averages for size of farm, farm capital, farm receipts, farm income, labor income, percentage return on farm capital, and family living from the farm.
