A Rodada Do Milênio: Impactos Sobre O Agronegócio Brasileiro

Abstract

O presente trabalho procura avaliar os possíveis impactos sobre o agronegócio brasileiro de diferentes cenários de liberalização comercial resultantes da Rodada Doha. Para isso é utilizado o Modelo Minimal de Equilíbrio Geral. Os resultados sugerem que tanto no curto quanto no longo prazo, os setores ligados ao agronegócio brasileiro responderam positivamente aos choques de liberalização comercial simulados. Porém os ganhos para os setores ligados ao agronegócio são significativamente mais altos no longo prazo e quando a liberalização completa é considerada. Dentre os setores mais beneficiados estão o Abate de Animais, a Indústria de Laticínios e a Indústria do Açúcar.
