E Agora José... Para Onde? Impasses Em Torno Da Identidade E Projeto Do Movimento De Agricultores Em Constantina-Rs

Abstract

As contradições sociais no campo se fazem “terreno fértil” para mobilização de agentes questionadores da ordem e propagadores da transformação social. Partindo das contribuições teóricas de Castells, analisou-se a trajetória política do movimento dos agricultores em Constantina, os processos de formação de identidade e de projeto conduzidos pelas organizações gerais de agricultores e manifestos ao nível local. Desvendou-se que existem diferenças substanciais na identidade, projeto e estratégias da FETRAF-Sul (Federação dos Trabalhadores na Agricultura Familiar da Região Sul) e da Via Campesina. Estas diferenças manifestam-se, principalmente, quanto a integração ou resistência ao capital.
