Competitividade Do Sistema Produtivo De Cana-De-Açúcar Em Minas Gerais: Abordagem Matriz Análise Política

Abstract

O objetivo deste estudo é avaliar a eficiência e a competitividade da produção de cana-deaçúcar em Minas Gerais, com base nos diferentes sistemas de produção presentes na principal região produtora do Estado, o Triângulo Mineiro / Alto Paranaíba. Os princípios analíticos dos conceitos usados baseiam-se na Teoria da Firma e do Comércio Internacional. O instrumental utilizado nesta análise é a Matriz de Análise Política (MAP), desenvolvido por MONKE e PEARSON (1989). Os resultados obtidos indicam que os sistemas produtivos são competitivos e eficientes, dadas as políticas vigentes, e que o sistema produtivo irrigado foi o que apresentou maior competitividade.
