Globalização Da P&D: Impactos Nos Países Em Desenvolvimento

Abstract

O trabalho visa analisar as conseqüências positivas e negativas advindas da globalização da pesquisa e desenvolvimento (P&D) sobre os países em desenvolvimento, especialmente os que hospedam essas operações. Para tal, empregou a revisão de literatura como metodologia. Aborda os fatores que possibilitaram a internacionalização da P&D e as vantagens buscadas pelas multinacionais que estabelecem atividades de pesquisa fora de seus países de origem. Elenca os impactos da P&D globalizada. Ressalta ainda a necessidade de uma atitude pró-ativa dos governos, com o objetivo de absorver o conhecimento gerado, garantir os interesses nacionais e maximizar o aproveitamento de seus resultados em favor do desenvolvimento do país. Descreve o perfil de três multinacionais do agronegócio que desenvolvem atividades de P&D no Brasil: Syngenta, DowAgroscience e Monsanto.
