Perspectivas E Prospectivas Da Avicultura Nas Regiões Sul E Centro-Oeste: Uma Análise Baseada Nas Vantagens Comparativas

Abstract

Nos últimos anos, a avicultura industrial mostrou uma migração da Região Sul para à Centro-Oeste, o que pode ser confirmado pelos últimos investimentos realizados pelas grandes empresas do setor naquela região. O presente estudo tem como objetivo principal analisar o setor avícola de forma perspectivas e prospectivas para as duas regiões. Baseando-se na teoria econômica das vantagens comparativas e em dados secundários, foram empregadas técnicas estatísticas para a descrição perspectiva do setor e análise de regressão na estimação de valores para os próximos cinco e dez anos. Os principais resultados mostram um cenário favorável à expansão ainda mais acentuada da avicultura na Região Centro-Oeste para os próximos anos, sem deixar de ressaltar que a Região Sul também apresenta crescimento do setor e mantém seu status de principal Região produtora. Contudo, as vantagens comparativas apresentadas pela Região Centro-Oeste, podem implicar perda de futuros investimentos do setor na Região Sul e, consequentemente, transferência de postos de trabalho e renda.
