Abstract

Este trabalho tem como objetivo descrever a importância e a utilização da contabilidade de custos dentro do setor avícola Pernambucano. A pesquisa foi realizada no município de São Bento do Una, localizado na região Agreste desse estado. Essa discussão destaca a importância de tal consideração, como pressuposto obrigatório para a competitividade em qualquer segmento de atividade econômica, de forma efetiva, com as mudanças ocorridas no cenário mundial na última década. Identificou-se que a gestão de custos se constitui numa ferramenta crucial, dado o grau de concorrência neste setor.
