Exportações Agrícolas Brasileiras E O Acordo Mercosul-União Européia

Abstract

O objetivo desta pesquisa é investigar as possibilidades de expansão das exportações agrícolas do Brasil para a União Européia (UE) estimuladas pelo rebaixamento de barreiras protecionistas deste mercado no contexto das negociações do Acordo Mercosul-União Européia. Em especial, analisa-se o comportamento das exportações de alguns produtos em que a agricultura familiar brasileira participa da oferta. Por meio de exercício de simulação em cenários com redução de alíquotas, a pesquisa explora possíveis vantagens que a agricultura nacional poderá angariar para si com as negociações em curso. Por fim, discute brevemente os benéficos da liberalização comercial com a União Européia para a agricultura familiar no Brasil.
