Agrár-Munkanélküliség És A Területi Egyenlőtlenségek Magyarországon

Abstract

Miközben a szakirodalom számos esetben a vidék kategóriájának felértékelődését hangsúlyozza, a rurális területeknek általában jelentős hátrányokkal kell megbirkózniuk. Ehhez járult hozzá hazánkban - az átmenetnek és a piacgazdaság kiépülésének is köszönhetően -, az agrárium foglalkoztatási szerepének fokozott visszaesése. Magyarországon az agrárgazdaság átalakuló szerepével, a vidéki munkanélküliséggel, a munkanélküliség térbeli eloszlásával már számos szerző foglalkozott, ám a mezőgazdasági eredetű munkanélküliséget - különösen, mint az agrár és vidéki népesség, illetve a vidéki területek strukturális problémáit jelző válság-tünetet, ennek kistérségi szintű megjelenését még nem kutatták részletesen. A szerző kiemelt célja azon vidéki térségek területi eloszlásának vizsgálata, melyek az Uniós csatlakozást megelőző másfél évtized alapján, jelentős és tartósan megjelenő, agrár eredetű munkanélküliséget mutatnak. A másik fontos célkitűzés, a lehatárolt területeknek az ország térszerkezetével és kistérségi jellemzőivel való összevetése. A vizsgálat kiinduló hipotézisei az alábbiak: Miközben a mezőgazdaság szerepének csökkenése következtében az ágazatból kiáramló munkaerő sok esetben nem volt képes más ágazatokban elhelyezkedni, 1) a probléma koncentráltan jelenik meg a vidéki területeken, 2) a tartós, mezőgazdasági eredetű munkanélküliség szorosan összefügg a területi egyenlőtlenségekkel.
